Justine Dymond’s story collection The Emigrant and Other Stories won the 2018 Eludia Award from Hidden Rivers Arts and is forthcoming from Sowilo Press. She received a 2020 Artist Fellowship finalist grant in fiction/creative nonfiction from the Mass Cultural Council. Other honors include an O. Henry Prize, The Briar Cliff Review Fiction Prize, second place in the New South Writing Contest, and nominations for Pushcart prizes and The Best American Travel Writing. She co-edited the collection Motherhood Memoirs: Mothers Creating/Writing Lives (Demeter Press, 2013) and teaches writing and literature at Springfield College.
